To President Trump

Peresident Trump, I voted for you in the 2024 election. You directly told the people of Iran to take to the streets and seize government centers. You said help was on the way. You said that if the regime resorted to killing, it would be held accountable. Now the question is simple and straightforward: What happened to those promises? Today we hear that you want to negotiate with that same regime—a negotiation with a government built on repression, killing, and lies. Do you truly trust such a regime? A regime that even attempted to assassinate you? Experience has shown that a system rooted in violence and repression does not change through negotiations. This regime is neither trustworthy nor reformable. Mr. Trump, Honor the promise you made to the people of Iran. People who, trusting those very promises, took to the streets, paid a heavy price, and lost their lives.
